It's getting cold in the mornings......

It's about 9:45 AM on Saturday morning. I'm piled on the couch with a blanket, You've Got Mail is on the tube and there is frost outside on the grass. I'm glad that fall finally arrived. I'm ready for the changing of the season. I don't have to work today so I'm not sure what I will do. I've been offered to help put up hay with a friend and hang at another friends house this evening but it's still up in the air. Earlier this week, we went to a friends house for a Halloween party and went to The Pumpkin House. I have a friend that decided to get into backpacking with me and we were looking at possibly overnighting on the Kanawha Trace trail, but with the frost on the grass, I don't think he would have a good time. I haven't called him about going today and I bet he is glad.

Seems like that job I applied for is looking up. Apparently my name is getting mentioned around the community and two of my interviewers have called references and had lengthy discussions. Like I said, this provides for a pickle. My wife and I will have to sit down and really discuss our options. I dread that one.

On a lighter note, one of my favorite programs is back on for it's second season.
It's brought to you by the best reality tv show programmer in the world, The Discovery Channel. Everest: Beyond the Limit documents climbers from all over the world attempting to reach the summit of Mt. Everest. One of my personal favorite climbers, Mogens Jehnson, is back to attempt the summit without Oxygen. He fell just short of doing it last season and I found myself just as disappointed as he was. I'm glad to see him back and I feel he can make the summit without the oxygen. I'm so excited. For those who want to watch it, it comes on Tuesday nights @ 10 p.m. all the way until December 18. The first episode of the second season aired on October 30th but for those who want to catch up, a rerun will be aired
